Research an artifact, then dismantle it to recover gold and a reusable blueprint. Fabricate modules here and install them through Ship Equipment.

Ship Equipment

Choose a slot, then fit equipment from cargo. Removed modules return to cargo; standard ship systems take over. Refitting requires an idle crew and takes engineering time.

Playtest tools

Timing settings stay in this browser. Apply while idle with an empty order queue. Crew skills and installed upgrades still affect durations. Drone flight speed changes transit time; exploration and mining settings describe the mission at normal drone speed.

Crew & passengers

Assignments can change while idle with no queued orders. Assigning an officer from another station swaps the two officers. Assigning a passenger relieves the current officer to passenger status.

Ratings and experience affect timed work. Food and water shortages lower motivation. Injuries, hiring, experience gain, and tactical combat bonuses come later.

Contract journal

Active jobs, completed deliveries, and cancelled contracts. Cargo remains available for trade until you turn it in.

Travel between sectors by approaching an investigated gate and choosing Jump. Your chart and recovered resources are remembered.
